On a clear day you will be able to see across to Lundy Island which can be accessed during the Summer season by taking a regular pleasure trip from Ilfracombe Harbour on the M.S Oldenburg over to the Island. The day trips can be booked at the booking office located in the Car Park at the end of the Harbour.
Ilfracombe Harbour is full of fishing boats and has many great views, one view is of a rock which resembles an Elephant, looking from Ilfracombe towards Rillage Point you will see this.
Ilfracombe Harbour also hosts the Harbour side Restaurant '11 The Quay' where you can find great fresh food and amazing works of art by artist owner Damian Hurst.
Also situated in the Harbour is the exquisite 'Driftwood Gallery' offering amazing works of art by many local and international artists.
The Landmark a.k.a Madonna's Bra overlooks Ilfracombe seafront with a year round programme of events including Cinema, Theatre, Crafts Fairs and various Dancing Classes. The Landmark also hosts a Cafe and Public amenities.
On a stormy day, at high tide, Ilfracombe is my favorite place to be..

Nice. The place seems great to spend holidays to. I'm sure holiday cottages in Devon are most sought after every holidays. So book a holiday now.
